It’s often tricky to find the best wedding venue. Here are some of my favourite wedding venues in London.
The Brompton Oratory is an incredible neo-classical Roman Catholic Church in Knightsbridge, London. Its full name is the Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, or as named in its Grade II* architectural listing, The Oratory. The decorative mosaic, plaster work and woodwork carvings inside the church left me awestruck. Brompton Oratory is an exceptional church.

The De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms has a long history dating back to 1775. The building has long been an important event venue in Holborn, London. Arched ornate ceilings, beautiful wood-panelling and dramatic chandeliers. The Grand Hall creates an impressive event space for up to 750 guests wedding ceremony and 1,500 guests for a drinks reception. View post here.

The Hampstead Pergola and Hill Gardens is a beautiful Georgian arbour and terrace with amazing views across Hampstead Heath. The Pergola and Hill Garden is a licenced venue for weddings and civil partnerships. If you’re looking for a romantic and beautiful and secluded place this venue makes a wonderful location for your wedding. They have three different ceremony locations which you can choose from.
The Orangery wedding venue is set in the middle of Holland Park. This park is one of my favourite places in London with beautiful rose gardens and wild life. It is licensed for Wedding Ceremonies and Civil Partnerships for up to 120 guests.
The Millbridge is a picturesque modern country barn in Surrey. The wedding suite at Millbridge Court is a luxurious retreat for wedding couples. Opening the double patio doors will lead you onto a secluded deck overlooking the meadows. You can decide to have your wedding ceremony indoors or out depending on the weather. View post here.
Dartmouth House combines all the elegance and grandeur of a Grade II listed mansion in Mayfair, London. It has contemporary catering to make your wedding day truly unforgettable. The house is licensed to hold civil ceremonies and has a range of rooms suitable for both intimate gatherings, ceremonies for up to 100 guests, seated receptions of 150 or standing parties for up to 450. The Pembroke Lodge is a unique Grade II listed Georgian Mansion situated at the highest point of the largest Royal Park within London. The building is steeped in history with many royal, political and military connections. Pembroke Lodge is a beautiful Georgian Mansion in the heart of Richmond Park. The Lodge has two wedding suites that you can choose to have your wedding ceremony, at either the Belvedere or the Russell Suite.
