The Brompton Oratory wedding of Cherriss & Francesco in the heart of Knightsbridge took place on a hot and sunny summers day. The ceremony began in true style with Cherriss arriving at the Church in a vintage Rolls Royce, accompanied by her father.

Cherriss & Francesco are such a lovely couple and were a pleasure to work with. Their love for each other, as well as their style and elegance, is clearly evident in the photographs from their big day. It is always an honour to be asked to document a couple’s wedding day, but especially when the couple are as perfect for each other as these two. For those who are not familiar with this venue, the Brompton Oratory is an incredible neo-classical Roman Catholic Church.

Two days before the wedding I went to the church to have a look around. I have lived in London all my life but I had never been here before.  I was overwhelmed by the location’s size and beauty. The decorative mosaic, plaster work and woodwork carvings inside the church left me awestruck. Brompton Oratory really is an exceptional church.

The Brompton Oratory is undoubtedly one of the nicest wedding venues I have ever photographed – a stunning Italian Renaissance style Catholic Church with influences drawn from Roman Baroque and Sir Christopher Wren.
